Cisco Flash Cisco Show Flash Vs. Show Version Difference?

Cisco show flash vs. show version difference? - cisco flash

If you want to know how much flash you have a router to show the use of flash, but it usually gives me a different number of demo version.

For example, show the version that I received:

16384K bytes of processor board System flash (Read / Write)

And get with the demonstration of Flash I:

[5571584 bytes used, 58444800 available, 64016384 total]
63488K bytes of processor board System flash (Read / Write)

And it is in the same router.

What is happening here that I do not understand?

  1. It's definitely a little strange.
    Compare with the following:

32K bytes of memory non-volatile configuration.
32768K bytes of processor board System flash (Read / Write)

    Configuration register is 0x2102

    Flash # show gateway

    System flash directory:
The length of the file name / status
    1 16036624 C2600-ik9o3s3-mz.123-19.bin
    [16036688 bytes used, 17517740 available, 33554428 total]
32768K bytes of flash card processor system (read / write)

This is Cisco 2621, and as you can see:

    32768KB
    =
    33554428 (B)

    What is your router?
